3-Starting up
The system must be filled before starting operations. Please use tap water for this purpose or processed water free of solid material (well water and the likes). As soon as all chambers connected with each other via fluid currents are filled, the system may be started by turning on the master switch at the control cabinet. After a waiting time, the aerator starts up and air bubbles arise in the fixed-bed chamber. A consistent bubbling indicates the proper functioning of the aerator. The return sludge pump operates periodically. During this process, it should be clearly audible that water from the final clarification is being pumped into the first chamber of the preliminary clarification.

4-Start-up period / Continuous operation
The aeration intervals are adjusted by the factory to the maximum connectable inhabitant equivalent values. These settings must be kept during the start-up period for the development of a stable biology. During the start-up period, the outflow values must be regularly controlled by authorized specialists. When the required outflow values are reached, the intervals may be adjusted to the actual connected inhabitant equivalent values res. to the corresponding pollution. The alterations of the aeration settings must only be carried out after directly consulting NDG or your NDG retailer |
